Disney Cruise Line Secrets
As you may know already, next week I will be heading off on my first Disney Cruise on the Disney Dream and I can not wait. So as always I have been doing a bit of research before I go. I love Disney Food Blog and follow them on Instagram and watch pretty much all their videos. So I found this one and thought I would share my thought on it. So here goes with a few Disney Cruise Line Secrets that I know will help me before I get on board.
As with many cruise lines, Disney offers 24 hours room service. There is always so much food on a cruise that sometimes I just can’t manage it, but as it’s included in the price you pay I always try to order it at least once. One thing I didn’t know though was that if you order room service while on board a Disney Ship that you can ask for a Mickey Ice Cream Bar, it’s not listed on the menu but they will bring you one if you ask. This is a classic Mickey treat that you can buy in the park, and now you can enjoy it at sea!
Spare Water Bottles
One thing I always go on about is packing spare bottles. Drinks can be expensive on Cruise Ships and especially buying bottles of water if you want to take it on and off the ship with you cost a lot more than they would on land. So take a spare bottle or 2 and you can fill it up with water that’s provided in the buffet restaurant or other areas of the ship. One thing I didn’t know from the video though was that not only can you get water, but you can also get Juice and all soda/fizzy drinks are included in the free fill-ups too. This is brilliant for a cruise ship, we normally have to but a soft drink package, so I know this will save us some money!
Dole Whip at Sea
If you are a Disney fan and a Dole Whip fan this is huge! Dole whip is a pineapple flavoured soft service, which you can get at certain places in Disney World but apparently, you can get it on the Cruise Ships too. People go absolutely crazy for the stuff and count it as their favourite Disney Snack. So this might just make your Disney Cruise.
